Terms of Service
Who we are. This store is run by OceanSoft ("we"), a company registered in New Zealand, 2/7 Alma Road, Milford, Auckland 0620, New Zealand. Contact: admin@oceansoft.io.
What we sell. Services for Shopify merchants: setting up the OS storefront and Liquid theme, updates, support, and AI agent add-ons. Each product page states what is included and how it is delivered. You pay for our work.
Free trial. Products marked "Free trial" cost nothing until 1 February 2027. We ask you by email before any paid month starts; nothing becomes a paid plan without your agreement.
AI features. Some services use AI models from Anthropic (Claude) and OpenAI. AI output can be wrong; a person at OceanSoft approves work before we deliver it, and you approve anything that is published to your store. We do not send your Shopify credentials to any model provider.
Your store and accounts. You keep ownership of your Shopify store, data, content and accounts. You give us the access a service needs, and you can remove it at any time. Shopify's own terms apply to your Shopify account.
Prices and payment. Prices are in New Zealand dollars. OceanSoft is not registered for GST, so no GST is added. Payment, when a price applies, is taken at checkout by Shopify.
Delivery. Services start after you provide the access and information listed on the product page. Our target time for each service is on its product page.
Business use. Our services are supplied for business purposes. Where you acquire them in trade, the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 does not apply, to the extent the law allows. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the Fair Trading Act 1986 or other law that cannot be excluded.
Liability. To the extent the law allows, our total liability for a service is limited to the amount you paid for it, and we are not liable for indirect loss, lost profit or lost data.
Changes. We may update these terms; the version on this page at the time of your order applies to that order.
Law. New Zealand law governs these terms, and New Zealand courts have jurisdiction.
